When I try to connect to nntp.aioe.org on any available port using
SSL/TLS (or to https://nntp.aioe.org from a web browser) I get a
certificate mismatch error:
The certificate is valid only for the following hosts:
blog.aioe.org
news.aioe.org
www.aioe.org
So the newsreader/browser complain about the certificate.
I am able to connect through news.aioe.org.
Thank you for your attention, Paolo.
PS: If you want and have time to, you can take a look to these pages to
